Lately, I noticed that if I selected C: in My Computer
and clicked on ScanDisk, it gave me a message that it
would run it the next time the computer was started.
As of late, the computer finishes all its steps in the
scan disk, says no errors, etc. but remains frozen,
causing me to hit the reset button which then restarts it
with the last known good configuration.
While doing a Backup, it seems to stop while writing
large Access files. This never occurred in the past, and
I'm not sure if one of the Hotfixes (Win updates) this
past month changed anything specifically that might have
triggered this scenario.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
