I am having problems opening my control panel and trying
to do a search.. it says windows explorer has incounter a
problem and must shut down.. I have tried to reinstall
explorer or doing a fix and nothing works. I need help,
getting very frustrated over this. I called Compaq but
they said my warrenty expired last month so forget that.
any help? thanks bb

Have you tried a System Restore. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System
Tools>System Restore

Yes i have went back a month now.. still won't resolve.
