I had previously asked for help on a computer that would recognize, but not
use any keyboard installed.
(I have lost the string to the original message).
We had tried different keyboards and reinstalling the keyboards. Could not
type any input.
We had run up-to-date antivirus and antispyware software. No help.
We had run a repair installation. No help.
I then took the computer to my shop to play with and found:
Every keyboard option checked "on" under the "Accessibility Options" feature
in the control panel.
After un-checking all the options, the keyboards worked just fine.
Of course my neighbor is positive that she did not change these features,
but no one else had access to her computer.
I guess we will charge this one against "Casper the friendly ghost".
