I can see a lot of these sorts of questions go begging
but this has become a very annoying problem on my
machine. I have multi-boot OSes and I am only seeing this
behaviour with XP. I click on a directory in Explorer and
the machine takes minutes to resolve the view into that
directory.
What is going on and what can I do about it?
