When I open outlook express I cannot send or receive E-mail. if I check tools, accounts, properties, servers mY incoming mail (pop) server is--127.0.0.1 and my account name is the same as my E-mail address. I can change the server to pop.cox-internet.com(which it should be) and my accoun to what it should be. But everytime I restart my computer 127.0.0.1 is back. I hace tried everthing I can think of to eliminate this but no results..Can you help.

Have you got Norton Anti Virus installed ? Try uninstalling it and resetting
your e-mail settings and see what happens.

This usually happens when an AV program is used to check e-mail as it
arrives and uses its own local mail server, sort of !

Post back if this still does not work.
