DirectX9 Genunine check

I am trying to install DirectX9.c. Microsoft says I need to perform Genuine
Check. No problem. I install or run direct. It does not work!

Any ideas anyone?

Go to a DirectX newgroup and ask there.

To test direct x,go to run,type:DXDIAG The direct x checker will open,run
the tests.
