I thought I was beginning to understand XP but now I
suddenly have a cricket sound every 10 minutes. I have no
idea what I did to cause it or what may be causing it.
Anyone see something like this in the past?

The chirping noise may be originating from the WeatherBug
program (if it is installed). The chirping noise alerts the user
to adverse weather advisories (www.weatherbug.com).=20

If this were a cricket group, it would have the word cricket in the group
name, would it not?
