i've got a panasonic digital video camera and i want to connect it to windows
movie maker or any other software that i can download. It says it cannot
detect a video capture device, yet the camera can be detected by the software
taht it came with. THe software it came wiht is only for still pictures
though. Can anyone help me?

You need to connect with a firewire cable.

It would help us if you told us what model Panasonic camera you have, what operating system you are using, and how your connecting the camera to the computer.
Otherwise we have to guess.

I'm having the same problem with Panasonic. I'm connected with fire wire.
Suggestions?

I'm having the same problem with Pansonic. Iam using fire wire Suggestion?

check out the I cannot capture section at www.myvideoproblems.com and come
back with what does and doesn't work.
