save the movie as a dv-avi file, use something like vcd easy to make a
vcd/svcd and then put in the tv dvd player.

Ok, so what do you do if when you go to save, and then click "show more
options" and you do not have that option ? I have the following. Video for
local playback (2.1 mbps); Video for local playback (1.5 mbps); Video for lan
playback (1.5 mbps); Video for lan (1.0 mbps); Video for lan (768 kbps);
Video for broadband (512 kbps); Video for local playback (2.1 mbps NTSC); and
Video for local playback (1.5 mbps NTSC)

Which version of MM are you using and can you give the steps you take to get
