Greetings,

I'm afraid I don't agree, the only way you could get malware is if someone sent it via file
transfer or sent you a link to somewhere where you downloaded and installed it.

Unfortunately, the problem with viruses that pass across Windows Messenger
are generally able to be attributed to an error between the keyboard and
chair.

User error or lack of information accounts for a lot of viruses, malware,
and spyware which get installed. That does not mean that someone is
stupid...just that they made a mistake.
