Click on start and go to run. Type in msconfig and hit ok.
Go to the startup tab and look in your list. Do you have
anything in tehre starting out with the letters WINK??
If so, you have the w32.klez virus. Here are the removal
instructions and a tool to clean it.

Err, Ron...If he can't actually boot to Windows, how can he access msconfig?

Ron, Thanks for the response. I did as suggested and found=20
and item called "winkvf". I'll now try to remove it.
Oh, regarding the other comment added by another...my ME=20
system comes up and it is there that I fgound=20
the 'winkvf'. Thaks again. Bill Fisher
