I am so frustrated. When I log on to the internet, after
a few minutes, my system decides to just reboot. I can
not stay on the internet for more than a few minutes. It
doesn't matter if I am reading my mail or surfing the
web. I am using Windows XP Professional. I have an older
machine. AMD 600 with 256 RAM. I added a 100 gig hard
drive for memory. Any suggestions would really be
appreciated.
Thanks, Nancy

You are having some kind of stop error. Your system settings are causing the
machine to automatically reboot. Go to: control
panel>system>advanced>startup and recovery>settings> uncheck automatically
restart. Go online again, let it crash, control>alt>delete>applications>end
task.
Go to: start>programs>accessories>system tools>system information>tools
tab>Dr. Watson> select view> your problem will be detailed there. You even
have the option of sending it to Microsoft.(But you'll prolly get better
help here. ) You might want to highlight the directions and right click and
print. Sorry, Win Xp has a lot of tools, but they sure are buried deep. Hope
this helps!
