Everytime I startup my computer scandisk runs. I shutdown the computer
properly and their are no errors, but then scandisk still runs and then it
gives a message that scandisk has been cancelled even though I did not touch
a button on the keyboard. I try to let the scandisk run but it keeps saying
that it has been cancelled and I am not doing anything to stop it. Can
anyone give me some idea how to fix this? Thanks.

Go to Start > Run and type: CMD , and hit enter. Then type in:
chkntfs /x c: , and hit enter. Reboot your computer.
