On 7/02/ my home area had a total black out. I was
working on Aol at the time, and did turn off comp. before
service was restored. I do have protection for the comp.
but when it came on NO AOL.Aol Tech says somehow all ref.
to Aol wiped out and windows will not let me re-install
it at all in any way.Windows has locked Aol out. Can
install NetZero, Juno but not Aol.
Do i have to un-install windows and then re=install to
fix this ?
Thanks.
Please post answer on here or Yahoo to Baibe67.
Thanks in advance.

marie,
no aol sounds like the best of all possible worlds...
do you ever create system restore files ... if so restore
your computer to the day before the power outage ...
windows xp is cool because it allows you to create restore
points and restore your computer to an earlier time
if you were smart enough to use system restore
good luck
start - programs - accessories - sysyem tools - system restore - create
restore point ... and so on

Search your registry, folders and files for "America Online" instead of
AOL. You may also want to call AOL tech support. You can reach their
www.aol.com page with any internet service and web browser.
