I have XP on my computer.
For 24hrs. whenever I hit send & receive in Outlook
Express, I get 17 messages out of 53 (and growing)and
then my server shuts down saying it can't receive #19.
I've done the full Symnatec fix for the Kleg virus,
reinstalled Norton anti-virus, done a full scan and I
have the same problems. Any ideas?

If your ISP has a web mail interface, go to it to look at your
messages. Sometimes a very large message times out and blocks the
download. All the messages remain on the server until you
successfully download them all. You could delete the messages from
the server you already receive before the problem message. You
could also delete the problem message if you do not want to keep it.
Eventually, your server inbox will fill up and reject further
messages unless you fix the problem. You can also have Outlook
Express download the header only and you can select the messages you
want to delete without downloading the message bodies.
