View Full Version : System slowdowns and application lockups

Am having the exact same problem also, this is the
fastest PC i ever bought but i think my old PII 450 was
faster, it is so frustrating. AM tring to find a list of
all the processes that should be active when you boot up
(Process list in the task manager) and compare that to
the list my pc gives just to see if all the software i
use is causing the pc to undertake any unneccesary
processes. this may help all of us so if anyone knows
where to get this list we would all appreciate it.

I love windows 98!!! HE HE!

Same probelm umm reall slow im being to think my p2 400 was faster than my
now AMD XP 2000+ teribbly wwrong man i maen lagg im restarting 5 times a day
now this is worse thant the hell of 98 fe that i left......
