I have a new harddrive that I installed in an old
machine. I used MaxBlast for the installation and then
formatted the drive with no problem. This computer has an
OTI-91X Atapi CDROM (Acer 50x). It keeps stating that the
OEMCD001 drive is not installed. I copied the
OakCDRom.SYS and it didn't work. I then did a install of
the atapi.exe and it installed files, but the CDROM is
still not being recognized. I then found another driver
download on drivers.com and used it, but to no avail. I
remember that I had a "Clone CD" application at one time
that worked on all generic CDROM's. If anyone has
anything similar, could you please tell me how to get it
or send a copy to me. I'd really appreciate it.
