Hi!
I HATE the "ding-ding-ding!" that plays each time a contact sends a message
on MSN Messenger 6.2. I have tried to create a different sound scheme with
less annoying sounds, and when I activated it through the Control Panel, it
worked! I saved the scheme under the name "new".
But each time I restart my computer, it automatically switches to the old
sound scheme, i.e. windows default. When I go to Sound Schemes in Control
Panel, it shows that the "new" scheme is on, yet the sounds are played the
same as Windows Default, and not according to the new scheme. When I press
'apply' then it uses the new scheme.
How can I manage it so that the new scheme stays on even after I turn my
computer off and on?
