Random Crashes w/ Win XP SP2 and w/out SP2

I have a 933mhz with xp2. I downloaded the SP2 patch/ files. My computer
crashes every 10 - 15 min or so. I get blue and black bar down the screen or
while and black bars. Couldn't find the problem so i reformatted the Hard
Drive and re-installed Win XP SP2. It still keeps crashing / freezing. What
should i do, and would Dr. Watson in Xp help?

You might have a processor fan or heat sink issue. Make sure the fan is
running. When your processor gets to hot it will shut the PC down with out
notice.
