View Full Version : Outlook Express 6 Problem

I have a problem with Outlook Express 6 that started about a week ago. I am
not able to review past emails that I've sent as they are no longer saved in
my Sent Items folder even though the save message box in the sent column of
the options menu remains checked and unchanged. Has anyone else had this
problem and is there a fix?

Check the date on your system. It's set to 3/21.

Create a new folder and move messages from Sent Items to the new folder.
Make sure there are no messages in the Outbox.
Close Outlook Express.
Search for outbox.dbx and sent items.dbx. Include hidden files in the
search.
Delete outbox.dbx and sent items.dbx.
Restart OE.

Do not have outbox messages be scanned for viruses as they are sent.
