View Full Version : I get a message that says Windows File Protection

This message constantly pops up. It says files were
replaced by unrecognized files and it says to put the
Windows XP home disc in to replace these files. But the
problem is when i put in the CD, the window closes and it
takes me to the autorun of the disc. Then were do i go
to replace these files? please help me out

Hit the "start" button =BB hit "run" =BB type "sfc /scannow" in the box. =
Have your CD in the drive before you start this process, you may need =
to hit "retry" repeatedly, when the box goes away the program is =
finished and correct copies of the files are in place.
