Now it works, Now it doesn't

There are certain aspects of two programs: Corel
PhotoPaint for digital cameras and Adobe Photo Shop, that
worked one week ago, and now don't work. I no longer can
create contact sheets. If anyone can tell me how to get
those areas back, many thanks.
