HELP New Installation

I have tried everything suggested to reinstall Retail XP, except replace hard drive. I now have a brand new one. Are there any tips I should know about before trying to install XP on this drive? Much appreciate you help. Thank you.

You haven't stated what problems you had before so in order to avoid the many "I

If you need advise regarding the new hard drive, post back with more info, e.g,
make, capacity & type, can your system handle its full capacity?, do you want
partitioning suggestions?, etc.
