I have used disk cleanup on many occassions and all mine
ever comes back with is the ability to delete temporary
internet files and may the recycle bin. You can do the
same thing by going to control panel, intenet options,
general tab, and then delete both the cookies and
temporary files. If you really want a good program to main
a clean and defragged machine buy Norton System Works
2003. It cost about $60 with $30 rebate if you have a
current Norton program that you are upgrading. Moreover,
they have a package deal out with Norton Sys 2003 and
Norton Firewall, that's $80 with $30 rebate. You can get
them at any large store like Staples, O/Depot, Best Buy
etc. Its a really good program, does more than the defrag
from windows, makes a big difference in performace of my
machine. Hope this helps. Don't know why you clean up is
hanging up.
