HID Drivers for xp professional sp2

I plugged in a USB device that uses the standard HID driver that come with xp.
However, these files are missing from my computer. I no longer have my
original xp CD. Is there a Microsoft download site that I can install the
HID drivers. My machine is a compaq N400c. Any help would sure be
appreciated.

Any windows drivers should already be on the computer.
Or if it's just drivers you need and you think you can extract them from a
CD, then perhaps you can borrow one. What happened to the original?
