Three days ago when every I start my XP OS it starts
running the CHKDSK Program. I've looked at MSN Knowledge
base #'s 316506 & 307545. Neither seem to be my problem.
Also, I have no idea what an REGISTRY HIVE/RECOVERY
CONSOLE even is!
It seems if I run CHKNFTS.EXE with parameters "/x
C:" that this will stop it from running each startup.
But what are the consequences of this?
Any Help would be gratly appreciated.
By the way the problem seemed to start after I
downloaded and installed 'ARTIFACTS' software for
Developers.
