View Full Version : SP2 Issue: Preparing Network Connections...

We have a number of laptops that are part of a Windows 2003 domain. The
laptops have an onboard NIC and Wireless adapter. We just upgraded the
laptops to SP2. Now, there is a 2.5 minute delay before the logon box is
displayed. The "Preparing Network Connections.." screen hangs there that
long. If I disable the Wireless adapter, the delay goes away. I need to have
both adapters enabled. Never had this issue with SP1. How do we fix it?

Thanks for the reply, but the devices are laptops and not Tablet PC's.
Everything was working fine until upgrading to SP2. In the wireless
settings, Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings is selected
and the Wireless Zero Configuration service is started. Is there anything
else that needs to be set?
