Hi

I have windows xp home edition purchased last year

I need to totally reformat my computer

Does my XP disc support a boot system. In the "old" days
you had to boot up from floppy.

If there is a support boot on the cd will it be recognised
as the first drive????

Regards
Jade

You have to set your boot priority in your BIOS

It's a keypress on startup, but exactly which key to press depends on your
PC. Check the manual as to which key on your particular PC (or the manual
of the motherboard if you have it).

I've come across:

F1, F2, F8, F10 and F12 besides the DEL key in my day!
