Windows update detected a new driver update for me for the
SiS7012. However, when I tried to install it, a warning
box opened that said it had not passed the logo test for
windows signature test and strongly recommended that I
stop the installation.
Now I am totally confused. Does windows find and recommend
updates only to stop the installation in mid download?
What would you recommend? Should I or should I not install
this recommended driver update to SiS7012. It is supported
software.
Thanks for your reply

(Don't know if there was a reply already to this (message not on server
anymore??), but here goes ...)
Don't take hardware drivers from MS update, go to manufacturer site and d/l
from them, they're usually newer....
