Hi,
I wonder what programs you're using out there in order to keep XP happy...
if any. I'm thinking something like Norton systemworks but I haven't heard
nice things about NS.

I recommend using System Mechanic (www.iolo.com) and Norton Internet
Security 2003. Use XP's native Disk Defragmenter and Check Disk =
programs
and XP will remain forever happy!

I'm using:
jv Powertools v1.3 (http://www.jv16.org/)
Executive software's Diskeeper
(http://www.execsoft.com/diskeeper/diskeeper.asp)
ZoneAlarm (http://www.zonelabs.com)
Xteq X-Setup (http://www.xteq.com)
and of course Norton Anti-Virus.
System works like a charm, and that's with an older PIII-550 (though I did
feed it 384MB of RAM).
