Hello,
In my indexing service I think to see that email files will be indexed. But,
even if the email directory is certainly included in the service, I do not
find that the content of emails is indexed.
It seems to me that in the help menu is stated that it should be.
So, is it possible to include email messages in the index, and if so, how?
Thank you very much,
Jan

Windows XP search is retarded. Go here for an excellent search program

If you knew as much as you think you know,
You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!

Indexing service can index outlook files; if you use a different mail
client then it may not find them.

Indexing service is rather old, slow, and feeble.

Try one of the new desktop search programs, they are much better. both
google desktop search and yahoo desktop search are free, and work well.
google is smaller, but needs to run all the time in the background (not
really a problem, it's very efficient). yahoo has more configurable
options, but a somewhat cluttered interface. for content searches, google
is the best choice, for filename searches, yahoo.

if you settle on one of these be sure to disable indexing service, and
delete its catalogs (via Computer Managment console).
