Why is it that my deleted items in Outlook Express only shows that I have 7
messages in it and there are quite a bit more than 7 in it.

Rubbish! OE is a component of IE6, which is part of the XP package & Karen
has every right to post it here if she wishes.
(Outlook isn't, it belongs to Office).

Hi,
Do you see the number in brackets next to the folder name (in Folders pane
on the left)? If so, it could be the number of 'unread' messages in that
folder. Probably you deleted some messages without reading them??
