Captions in Windows Explorer

Can someone point me in the right direction or provide a solution?

For an unknown reason, while in Thumbnail view the captions on everything in
my Windows Explorer folder have disappeared. The captions are still there
when I switch views (tiles, icons, list, details = the captions are all
there).

In all the subfolders all the captions are also still there when in
Thumbnail view.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

If this is a recent problem (and I suspect it is) your best bet for an easy
out may be to perform a System Restore operation. To find out more about
System Restore, look it up in Help and Support.

No, that is not the cure.

Jim: Hold down the shift key while selecting thumbnail view to toggle icon
titles.
