Well I have had more time to work on the Drag & Drop issue but it still
doesn’t work right. For everybody that hasn’t heard about this heres my
problem: I have two computer hooked up to my home network and I use drag &
drop on both of them (in-between them and then on each computer
individually). Well for some reason the Drag & Drop decided to stop working
on both computer one day. One thing that I never mentioned was that I have a
4-port KVM switched hooked up also. Anyways I got the Drag & Drop to work on
one computer perfectly. I wanted it to work on the other computer also
though. So tonight I re-installed windows with just one hard drive in the
machine and I formatted the hard drive so that nothing could be left from the
last installation of windows. Anyways I got Windows XP SP2 up and running and
everything went perfect like always and so I went to try to Drag & Drop and
couldn't do it. This really boggled my mind because this computer was a stand
alone with no network connections. (no possible way to get anything on it
(Spyware, virus, etc...) So my Drag & Drop still didnt work. Well I have the
Logitech MX Duo (Wireless mouse and keyboard) hooked up straight to the KVM
switch and everything has always worked perfect for about one month now. Well
I got out a standard PS/2 mouse (with a wire) and hooked it up. Walla!! The
mouse works perfect and I can Drag & Drop. So I hook the Logitech mouse back
up and it doesn’t work. I then go to the computer that is working perfect
with the Drag & Drop and see what mouse drivers are installed (The Driver:
"PS/@ Compatible Mouse") I them install this mouse driver on the other
computer and it doesn’t help the Drag & Drop feature out at all.

At this point I am completely dumbfounded as to why this isn't working. I
even tried installing the Logitech drivers and that didn’t help either. If
anybody has absolutely any ideas (besides enabling the Drag & Drop feature
through the properties of the toolbar and through the IE properties) please
let me know. I need help!!! Thanks!

-Zac

Have a look on the Logitech website for the latest drivers for your model

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/finder/US/EN,crid=270&categoryid=126

and also Windows Update to make sure you are up to date with hardware
updates.

Could try changing the batteries too :-)
