You got a virus\trojan.

(1) explorer.exe
(2)SPROT.I (Trojan)
(3)BKDR THUNK.B

Use MS Spyware,Spybot,Adaware, Hijackthis and then run Sysclean_FE utility
from the address below

At this time I dont have internet access. I do have Norton systemworks so I
ran that. It showed 373 adware threats and it cleared up 370. I cant get to
the other 3 by searching for file. Any suggestions would help.

First get rid of NIS. Second bring your computer over to a friends house who
has a Internet connection and do what I suggested

>I get the same thing whenever I right click on an icon or a file which has no
signature in Windows-XP (which are most file and icons) therefore I can not
get any info on these files. It is a very annoing problem. I did find a
temporary solution by going into WINDOWS file "Prefetch" and drag it into the
"recycle bin". It cured the problem until the next rebooting. Now after
installing SP2 my trick no longer works. I suspect this problem is purposely
intoduced by Microsoft or possibly they (the makers) are not even aware of
it. If you have found a solution, please let me know. Thanks, Tom T
