sign on password forgotten

i purchased a computer w/ windows xp pro from an individual
and in the process of changing the original user domains
password i erased it and am locked out of windows.i would
like to know if there is a way to get into windows xp
without the password, any help greatly appreciated ..thanks

Hi Don,

No, not without an Admin or Admin user password, or a password reset disk
from the original user. As you just purchased it, you should simply make a
clean install of the system using the original media (of which the owner was
required to supply you with if they sold you the system with WinXP intact).
