View Full Version : WINDOWS "LOG ON" Screen

I purchased a computer with Windows XP installed. With it I received
the disk.
Recently I had to reinstall windows and while doing so, I was prompted
to put in my name. Little did I know that this was for the "Log On"
screen. Now I cannot get rid of it. Is there any way to by-pass this
screen?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Stephen,
Start/run control userpasswords2
Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply/ok and follow
the prompts to set up a default logon.
