Start menu and icons gone?

Hi

When I log on to my desktop all the icons and the start
menu are gone... also I cannot bring the sub-menu up if I
right click. Therefor I have to run everything through
task manager which is kind of annoying. If anyone could
help that'd be awesome. Thanks

Did you try logging off from Task Manager? Look under Shutdown.
