After lets say an hour and a half (times can vary) of
having the computer switched on, a message starts
appearing when i try and open pretty much any program...
this message is "Insufficient System Resources exist to
complete the requested service"
I have tried defragmenting the disk, remvoving
unnecessary files etc (about 6GB) and also purchasing
some more memory.
my computer spec is 800mhz, 768 mb ram (sdram) 30GB hard
disk.
if anyone can help please post a reply...this has been
going on for about 6 months now and no one seems to know
whats going on..
cheers
james

This could be a single misbehaving application that is not=20
returning memory to the system pool after use . Make a note=20
of each application you use - avoid using each one in turn=20
and see if the problem abates . Alternatively, press control alt delete=20
when you are running out of memory and click the processes tab=20
to see which application is hogging the memory=20

--=20

come up even if i dont load any programs after a certain

item?

Download Adaware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ and =
use
it to remove parasites.

Have you installed any memory boosters or the like?

Hope this helps.
