When I open an application like Word, for example, and I
try to open a file, the dialog box comes up and hangs up
for a long time like it is indexing my whole network.
When I try to change directories, I get another long
delay, even if they are on the same local drive. Is this
something to do with digital signature verification or
some security feature? How can I speed this up? TIA.
