my cdrw wont burn cd's??????????????

When I goto my computer, the icon for my burner says "cd-rom" and will not
let me burn cd's. It did come unplugged, but was plugged back
in..........."new big deal", except now it is labeled "cd-rom"?????

Check properties of the drive, is there a recording tab and does it list
recording as being enabled?

What is the make and model of your cd?
