Hello all

Is anyone there who can help with regards to a boot up
problem I am having - once past the POST and without any
other messages the pc re-boots it self!?

I have recently had a problem with the CPU which the
manufacturer replaced, but ever since this has happened.

I have gone through the repair console and re-sintalled
XP to try and resolve the problem, but still nothing!

I installd new RAM, which solved it for a day....but once
I left the pc off overnight, and tried to boot up the
next day, it happened again......

Any ideas?!

Cheers

Rhys

You should turn off 'reboot on error' (control panel--system--advance ) so
that the computer will stop and you can see the error. Also check the event
log.

Mr Unknown

Thanks for your posting but I can not get past the POST
to get into windows at all to be able to check the event
viewer or turn of the system restart option within the
startup and recovery sections?!

Do you have any other ideas?

Cheers

Rhys
