Time to resume from hibernate in XP drastivally different on 2 similar systems

Both systems have XP Home

System 1:
Athlon XP 2000+
1GB PC333
80GB ATA 100 7200 RPM HD

System 2:
Athlon XP 1800+
1GB PC133
40GB ATA 100 7200 RPM HD.

System one resumes from hibernate about 5x faster than
system two and I have no idea why. The black screen with
the white progress bar that shows resume progress flies
on system one and creeps along on system 2.

Any ideas?
