I loaded windows xp and now my lights on the key board do
not come on , how can I get that back,

Here's a few thoughts to think about:

-Does the keyboard work? (forgetting about the lights)
-Is it securely connected at the back where its plugged into the m'board /
Has it come loose?
-Has the lights only stopped coming on once you installed windows or did it
just happen one
day when you loaded xp / booted the computer?
-Have you got antivirus protection on your computer? If not, it could be a
virus preventing
the lights from working
-Have you had an storm recently? its possible that if you havent got surge
protection that
a electrical spike may have come down the line and cause damage to your
keyboard
(and maybe more)

Think I've pretty much covered it all (tho I'm sure I havent hehe)
