user account - profile issue

I have an XP Pro workstation with the user account "john
doe". I added the computer to a domain with the user
account "jdoe". The profile settings associated
with "john doe" before the computer was added to the
domain are gone. How do I move the profile associated
with "john doe" to user domain user "jdoe"?

The easiest way I have found is to use the file and settings transfer
wizard. Just log in to the machine account, collect the settings, then log
into the domain account and transfer the settings to there.
