I am pretty sure that WinXP pro will work with a double CPU board.

I am pretty sure that WinXP pro will work with a dual chip

Will XP work in a 940 board (Two CPUs) and a dual chip ? ie- 4 processors.

yes, but it would use only one CPU anyway. Why not switch to 2003?

You need a server version to use more than 2 cpu's

"Hyperthreading CPUs" mean /anything/ at all to you?

It will show up as four CPUs in the device manager but in actuality it is
two CPUs and XP works fine with it.
