I have the strangest problem. The double-click functionality does not work in
Windows XP, anywhere. For example, if you are in MS Word and you want to
select a particular word, usually double clicking the word would do the
trick, or if you are in Windows Explorer and you want to open a file, again
double-clicking on the file would ususally open it. Well for some reason it
just won't on my machine.
I have tried adjusting the double-click speed under the Mouse applet in
Control Panel. I have also tried deleting the device under Device Manager to
force Windows to reload the driver. Neither of these solved my problem.
Does anybody know what has caused this problem and how to remedy it??? I
really don't want to have to go to all the trouble of reloading Windows.
