I finally found the culprit that gave me the BSOD Stop: 0x0000000A problem.
It is a Prefetch driver File called Hpupdate.exe a leftover from a long gone
scanner. I unchecked the file using msconfig-startup. Since un-checking this
file and renaming all related files "old" my problems have disappeared.
Presumably deleting the re-named related files will be no problem. My
question is how do I remove the unchecked Hpupdate.exe file from my Startup?
