Deleted My Account

I deleted a user account in WinXP Pro which was a clone of my usual signon
account. It blew away my usual account as well, leaving me with only the
administrator's account. I have a current backup, including system state,
but can not figure out how to restore my previous account and settings. I
have restored the Documents and Settings folder for my old account, but it
tells me that I am not authorized to the folder, even when logged on as
Administrator. When I deleted the account, I told it to delete the files
too. How can I get my old account back?
