Can't uninstall 811493 from add and remove programs

I am wanting to uninstall the hotfix 811493 but it does
not give me that option in the add/remove programs to
uninstall it. It is listed there but I can't get rid of
it. It has been causing alot of problems for me. Could
someone please tell me how to get rid of this?

This has been covered before but you might have missed it; DO NOT uninstall
it from theWindows folder, although all the Hotfixes are listed there. It
can be done but with disastrous result.... I did it the way i was instructed
by a MSVP and it wiped my machine-out....Leave it, trust me.

Do a restore to a date prior to the installation of 811493.
